Weekly Round Up (Week Twenty Three & Twenty Four)

Very busy at work the last couple of weeks covering staff holidays, so not much time for fishing or anything else. I managed to get out today for a couple of hours walking along the river. The river is at a good level at the moment, and the salmon are starting to move up river. The levels are still below what they should be but are higher than the middle of summer. There was plenty of fly life, the water is clear and the salmon could be seen moving up river, but not a single rise to the hatches.
