Week ten and on the whole the weather has been kind this week. It has been mainly dry with overcast skys. There was quite a bit of rain yesterday (Saturday) but it has made little difference to the river levels, which remain at normal summer levels.
I am now checking andf rechecking my fly lines, reels and fly boxes in readiness for the start of the new Brownie season on Tuesday, when I will be on the river in the morning for a couple of hours, just to say that the season has started.
