Greenwells Glory

At the tying club tonight we were tying the Greenwells Glory dry fly and the Blae & Black. I struggled with the wings on the Blae & Black as they were tied with the curve of the wing facing in towards each other. I found the Greenwells much easier as the wings open outwards at the tip and are much easier to pair up correctly.
The picture above is my first attempt ever at tying the Greenwells Glory and I am quite confident that after another couple of attempts my tyings will be much better. Having said that I still think the fly will catch the odd trout or two.
